Naoise is a 27 year old musician, producer and educator originally from Galway, Ireland. He’s been involved in the Irish music sector, playing drums professionally since 2015.
Since starting to play for bands in 2014, he’s been teaching, recording and touring throughout Europe, winning the national competition, the ‘Irish Youth Music Awards’ in 2017.
In 2018 Naoise studied at BIMM Music Institute Dublin, graduating from their BA Honours Degree in Commercial Modern Music in 2022. Throughout the course, he specialised in the drum kit as his instrument.
During his final year, he specialised in specific modules such as Drum Kit Teaching, Studio Musicianship and Profesional Musicianship, setting him on a path to teaching the drum kit and music as his full time career.
After graduating, Naoise began teaching full time in his own drum school. He would also fill in as a sub for Drumadore Drum School in Galway, giving him valuable experience of working with young children with a vast variety of abilities and needs.
Naoise currently plays in garage punk band Adore who have released a record and played multiple gigs throughout Europe. He’s been based in Cork and teaching here since April of 2025.
